Digital Art Materials and Supply List

Due to the expense of these tools, we again encourage students to consider taking this class only if art is something they are actively passionate about and intend to pursue long-term. You must have the hardware and software installed before the first day of class. We recommend you explore the program and try it out some before the first day of class.

Hardware

A working laptop capable of running an art program + a drawing tablet (Wacom Intuos, Bamboo, etc.)

iPad + Apple Pencil

Software

Any one of the following programs will meet the requirements for this class:

Procreate (iPad only)
Adobe Photoshop (subscription)
Clip Studio Paint (note, this program goes on sale often)
Paint Tool SAI
Krita (free)

However, please realize that instructor Mick Kaufer will be using Procreate to teach all of her lessons and to execute all of her demonstrations.
